All dressed up when I am working lipstic, stockings, blouses, skirts. Jealous colleagues call it perking, smiling at them though it hurts.
Yet my love will keep me glowing like a lantern in the dark. Ignoring rumors they are sowing I feel happy as a lark.

The vast sea keeps roaring and the bitter wind wails the ship is about to capsize dieing with black broken sails
Then another ship finds her, he calls and she hails her beacon, her lover, her friend mending her black broken sails.

I am nothing But a dream you once had, A misplaced emotion Yet still do I live In some warm alcove of your heart And I am brought forth, Each time that song is played Or the ghost of patchouli haunts the air, That which once was takes ethereal flesh And brushes at the corners of your senses. I lean against the cupboards in your kitchen And lie with you upon your couch, As the echo of my honey-coated voice Whispers softly on the wind.

He is the emissary of a ferocious change, The battle rages in his wake, He shall wash the old from the sweeping plains, A shattered wreck left in its place. Yet this dark-winged harbinger of ruin Shall in turn
